Maybe lots of people don't mind them being all drawn in the same clip but I want them separate and so I hope it can be done and I hope it's a relatively easy answer as it's been a long day and my brain is tired.
Upon playback the faders move, sound levels change as expected but I want each separate. So, I have 4 automation clips and 4 audio tracks.Īnd all 4 channels of fader movements are on the 1st of the 4 automation clips instead of one per clip.ģ of the clips are nothing, the first has the 4 lines of fader movements. Then I just dragged each up to the audio track each was corresponding to so that they'd be right there with each other and then I planned I could easily get rid of or modify one and if I added more automation clips for whatever having to do with that mixer channel/audio track such as pan, fx, whatever and I'd use the mouse to click that parameter and choose "create automation clip" and then drag that up to be stacked with the audio of that channel along with any other automation for that track. I did the same with the next 3 channel faders. I sat down the other night and was starting to play around with automating mixer fader movements and what I want is to have an automation clip for each fader, so I hovered the mouse over the channel 1 fader and clicked "create automation clip" and it popped up in the playlist. *EDIT: I was using a Nektar Impact LX61 keyboard controller with the faders as the controllers. I've got FL Producer Edition 20.1.1 (build 795) I have a midi knob linked to an effect in FL.
So I've not done nearly, not nearly enough with automation and that's about to change!
